Walleye & Mud Hens fans,
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the Walleye and Mud Hens have not been immune to the effect this had on our world, our country and our community. Unfortunately, the pandemic cancelled 25% of the recent Walleye regular season home games and the entire playoff season. It has also postponed the start of both the Major League and Minor League Baseball seasons.
The Walleye and Mud Hens financial model is reliant on fans attending games. The inability to play games and the subsequent uncertainty has created a situation in which many of our front office team members have been placed on furlough. To those employees affected during this furlough period, the Walleye and Mud Hens will continue to offer full health benefits, including the employee portion.
We will remain in close contact with all of our team members over the coming months and will be able to react quickly if a start date for the baseball season is able to be determined. Our front office team will continue to answer the questions you may have as soon as possible. Please continue your patience as we all work together through this unprecedented time.
Go Walleye & Hens,
