It’s an exciting and inexpensive way to introduce your child to playing hockey! The Toledo Walleye and Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter are teaming up for the annual 'Little Walleye Learn to Play Program' presented by Cricket Wireless.
All sessions will be held at the Huntington Center. The program is open for children ages 5 to 8 who have not participated in organized hockey.
Registration is $150 which includes:
- Complete starter set of hockey equipment (excluding skates, skate rental available on site)
- Little Walleye jersey and equipment bag
- 3 hours of ice time at the Huntington Center
- 2 Toledo Walleye game tickets

LITTLE WALLEYE | SESSION ONE
All participants will be properly fitted for equipment when they arrive to the Huntington Center for the first on-ice session:
- Saturday, February 2, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
- Saturday, February 9, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
- Sunday, February 10, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
NOTE: Participants will be encouraged to stay and watch the Toledo Walleye morning skate at 10 a.m. following each session at no additional cost!
The session is open to 50 children, with instructors provided by Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter and the Toledo Walleye. It’s highly recommended for children to have skating lessons before starting the Little Walleye program. We anticipate that sessions will fill up quick -- sign up early to be guaranteed a spot!
