Plug in the tree. Light up the street. Let’s flip the switch to Hensville Lights!
Be there on Saturday, November 17 as Hensville Lights returns for the 2018 holiday season, presented by Toledo Edison and Lexus of Toledo, and supported by NSG Group, Tireman and WTOL.Come join the fun when we flip the switch, turning St. Clair Street into a winter wonderland with more than 200,000 twinkling lights. Once again, holiday lights will decorate the buildings on St. Clair Street between Washington and Monroe Streets with a special dancing light show in Hensville Park synced to music.The Hensville Park Christmas tree stands 45 feet tall and will be on display along the Monroe Street side of the park. With 10,000 lights, it makes a perfect photo backdrop for holiday cards.The festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. on November 17, as the celebration will include a visit from Santa Claus, strolling carolers and a special performance from the Toledo Ballet. Hensville Lights and the tree will be turning on at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The Toledo Walleye hockey game against Fort Wayne follows at 7:15 p.m. at the Huntington Center.Businesses along St. Clair St. participating in Hensville Lights include Maloney, McHugh and Kolodgy Ltd., Holy Toledo! Tavern, Fleetwood’s Tap Room, Neighborhood Health Association, Thomas Porter Architects, 20 North Gallery and Fricker’s.
Hensville Lights will shine from Saturday, November 17 through Sunday, January 6.
