Walleye complete two future consideration trades

(Toledo, OH) – The Toledo Walleye have acquired the rights to forward Colin Martin from the Utah Grizzlies and sent the rights of defenseman Nolan Zajac to the Wichita Thunder.

Martin’s rights complete a trade that was made between Toledo and Utah on November 14, 2016 that sent forward Erik Bradford to the Grizzlies. The 26-year-old forward completed his first professional season with 22 goals, 11 assists, and 43 penalty minutes. He also picked up one assist in four playoff contests.

The sending of Nolan Zajac’s rights to Wichita completes Toledo’s trade that netted the Walleye defenseman Landon Oslanski on March 9, 2017. Zajac appeared in 61 games for the Walleye during his first pro season with 11 goals, 43 assists, 54 points and a plus 31. The 24-year-old appeared in the 2017 ECHL All-Star Game.
