Score a Mystery Puck on Saturday, March 24

The Toledo Walleye will host its annual Mystery Puck Sale on Saturday, March 24.  This charity event aims to keep the memory of Bryan Rufenach alive and help pass on his love for hockey.

Fans attending the game at the Huntington Center that night can purchase an autographed puck for $20 at Section 120 on the Main Concourse. Each puck will be placed in a plain brown paper bag, and the mystery will be solved when the buyer opens the bag to see which puck they bought.

Pucks signed by Walleye, NHL, AHL, ECHL players and select Toledo hockey legends, as well as game pucks scored and signed by Walleye players will be sold during the event on the main concourse.

NOTE: Get there early! Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. and the pucks are typically sold out before the game starts at 7:15 p.m.

All proceeds benefit the Bryan Rufenach Memorial Fund. Rufenach played for the Walleye during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons, before dying unexpectedly during the summer of 2012. His family has established the Bryan Rufenach Just Skills Hockey Camp in Lindsay, Ontario, a free week-long camp for kids in the area.
