Way to go boys...was at the game last night and thought the team played great...make it six straight wins for the Walleye (a franchise best)...now just 1 point behind first place Kalamazoo. Ryan Stokes Signed By Providence… Toledo captain signed to PTO Contract… (TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced that defenseman Ryan Stokes has been signed to a PTO (professional Try-out) contract by the Providence Bruins. Scooter Smith Returns to Toledo Walleye host Wheeling Wednesday night (TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced that the team has signed forward Scooter Smith to a contract. Scooter is expected to be in the lineup tonight as the Walleye take on the Wheeling Nailers. During parts of three seasons in Toledo, Smith averaged nearly a point-per-game, playing in 116 games and recording 108 points (41g, 67a).
